How do I add a dependent to my Vitable Health App?

Adding a dependent to your Vitable Health app is quick and simple! Just follow these steps:

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Click on the following link: My Household. 
  2. Select "Add Household Dependent."
  3. Enter your dependent’s details, such as their name, date of birth, and any other required information.
  4. Once you've filled everything out, save your changes.

That’s it! Your dependent is now added, and their information will be easily accessible in your profile.

 

Who qualifies as a dependent?

Your Vitable Direct Primary Care membership covers anyone in your household between the ages of 18 months and 64 years—regardless of their relationship to you. If you have household members who are 65 or older and not currently enrolled in Medicare, they are also eligible to enroll in Vitable and seek care through the Vitable app.

This means you can add family members, friends, or roommates as long as they share your address. 

 

⚠️ Important: You can add anyone in your household to your Vitable Primary Care membership, as long as they meet the age requirements and share your address. However, if you're enrolled in a Vitable MEC, MVP, or ICHRA plan, adding a dependent to your insurance coverage may require a Qualifying Life Event (QLE) and proof of eligibility. If you need to make changes to your coverage, submit a QLE request or use Chat with a Human for assistance.

 

How do I give my adult dependent access to our children's accounts?

Need your adult dependent to help manage care for your minor dependents? You can make them a Household Admin by following these steps:

  1. Click on the following link: My Household. 
  2. Tap on their name under "Household Members."
  3. Select "Edit Household Dependent."
  4. Check the box for "Make Household Admin."                IMG_2392.PNG.png
  5. Tap "Save."

Now, your adult dependent will be able to schedule visits and view records for your minor dependents.
